Black Peppercorns
Tumbling Ground (1995)

In January 1995, Kevin Prosch gathered a number of friends together at Record Two near the coastal town of Mendocino, CA to record a few songs he had written about his life and the things he had experienced. As with most of what Kevin Prosch has done, it wasn't what people expected and that's probably just why in the end it worked. Drawing on personal experience, Kevin has crafted some of the most heart felt songs dealing with issues concerning loneliness, love, disappointment, and joy. Whether he's singing about the love a husband has for his wife or the struggle for a Father's blessing or even the loss of a child, the songs leave the listener knowing that the composer understands the experiences of life. Produced by Ethan Johns (son of the legendary studio man Glyn Johns), Tumbling Ground is honest, accessible, and insightful. If you're going through a rough time, or know someone struggling, treat them to the salve of Tumbling Ground.
